Studio Republic is Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm and Saturdays by appointment only. Our session appointment times begin hourly from Monday – Saturday with 8:30am – 1:30pm session start times.

As per our cancellation policy – we require at least seven days’ notice if you need to reschedule or cancel your session with us. We are booking a four-hour time slot & up to 5 staff members for your personalised session with us. We understand unavoidable circumstances arise – however cancelling/rescheduling within a seven-day time frame or failure to attend your session will result in a $100 cancellation fee or your booking holding deposit forfeited.
We understand that not everyone owns a credit card which is why we are more than happy to take a $100 holding deposit via bank transfer. This can be put towards your order on the day. *Failure to attend session or less than seven days’ notice for cancelling and rescheduling your session will result in your holding deposit forfeited.

Please allow approximately 4 hours in total for your session, this time also includes your private viewing where you view and place your order.
Absolutely – just let us know prior to your session so we can best accommodate them. We will do a mix of together and individual shots in order for you to have lots of variety. Additional hair and make-up charges may apply for plus one shoots
Unfortunately, due to timing and space we are unable to accommodate people who are not directly involved in the photo shoot. There are plenty of shops nearby if they wish to drop you off and pick you up at the end of your session.
Yes, you can! Studio Republic knows that pets are part of the family! Pets can come at no additional charge, but they must remain on a leash at all times. Please let us know prior to your session if you wish to bring your furry friend so we can best accommodate them.
Yes, please bring along at least 2 different outfits. Your personal producer will work with you prior to the shoot to ensure you know what to bring.
It’s entirely up to you in terms of your style of shoot. Try thinking about what you’re wanting your images for and direct your outfits from there. Think about whether you want to step out of your comfort zone and do something sexy, or whether you’re wanting something more natural.
We can create something out of everything! Don’t feel like you have to go buy a whole new wardrobe! Research ideas on Pinterest or Google to see different styles – bring these images along on the day as well. Don’t forget shoes! Jackets are also a great way to mix up your shoot.
Some suggestions to bring: Plain tops, denim jeans, dresses, lingerie, hats, jackets, partners shirt, fitness clothes, shoes, jewellery or anything you love or feel good in
We have a few props and accessories here like chairs and a few pieces of jewellery, but if you have something specific in mind or unique to you – please bring it along with you.
You may want to consider getting your nails done, have a spray tan and any waxing needs, especially if you want to do nude or lingerie photography. The best way to arrive to your shoot is with clean dry hair and no make-up. You will be receiving emails in the lead up to your shoot too with heaps of tips and hints to help you best prepare for the day!
Yes, we will do full hair and make-up styling for you on the day. If you have any reference shots of a particular style of hair or make up you love please bring them along on the day to show your make-up artist.
No need to wear make up for the trip up here, don’t feel embarrassed about being fresh faced!
Our team of qualified professionals are here to pamper and make sure you are looking your absolute best! The requirements are very specific for photography, so our make-up artist will do your make-up and hair for you!
Our make-up artist will apply make-up that suits your style of photo shoot – this can be as minimal or dramatic as you like! You can even start minimal and then go dramatic! But remember – the camera and the lighting soak up a lot of the detail of your skin, so your foundation will probably feel or look thicker than normal in the mirror but will look perfect in your images!
Of course! We want you to be comfortable and be “the real you” so if something is too dramatic for you than just let us know! Keep in mind that make up requirements for photography are very specific and your make up may appear more dramatic in the mirror then what it will in your photos.
Definitely! On the day you’ll have a team of trained professionals who know the secrets to a great photograph. You will have professional hair and make-up styling to enhance your best features, and your photographer will direct you on how to pose and use specific lighting to flatter your best angles. They are to photograph all ages, shapes and sizes!
When you first see your images on the day in your viewing, your images will be all natural – so yes you will be able to see scars and blemishes etc. The awesome thing about that is though, if you want them removed we can do that! All of the images you order will be professionally retouched (PhotoShop) by our production team to your specifications – and they really, can do anything!
Yes. All of your purchased images will be carefully retouched by our production team. If you have any special requirements, our friendly team will be happy to discuss this with you to ensure you get the perfect outcome.
Yes – your team will have your images for viewing approximately 20-30 minutes after your shoot – where you will be able to view them in our private viewing room.
Yes. Due to the volume of sessions we are unable to accommodate viewings at a later date. All orders must be placed on the same day of your shoot, so it is important any decision makers are present.
Of course! We offer both High Resolution Digital Images and Web Resolution Digital Images on USB for you to purchase.
We have prints and other beautiful products such as our Signature Treasure Boxes or Wall Mounts available for you as well.
Definitely – We specialise in portfolios for models, actors, singers, dancers, musicians or anyone needing promotional images. We recommend purchasing at least 10 images to show agencies plenty of variety. Let us know prior to your session if this is something you’re considering so we can plan and style your photo shoot correctly.

All orders must be placed on the day of your session. Unfortunately, due to the large volume of clients we are unable to offer an after-sale purchasing service.
Your order will be complete within 3-5 weeks of your photo shoot and we will let you know as soon as they are ready to be collected! **Some payment plans require orders to be paid in full before collection.
We prefer our clients to come in and collect their images, so we can go through them with them. However, we do understand that life is busy so we offer a courier service (depending on your location) as well. If you have purchased Digital Files, we can email them to you without losing the quality of your images as well.
